Rocco is a registered psychologist with experience and training working with adults, adolescents and children. He works across a variety of psychological difficulties – including family and relationship problems, complex childhood trauma, OCD, early-onset psychosis, conversion or tic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disorder, ADHD, as well as anxiety, depression, grief and loss. He is LGBTQIA-friendly and has a passion for assisting people with the mental health impacts of growing up within a marginalised group. He has broad experience working with adolescents; he has worked in various schools in Victoria providing assistance with often high-risk or complex cases, performing assessments or providing the emotional support that is integral to a young person’s development.
Rocco is available for personality assessment, vocational assessment (or career) and for psychotherapy. He received supervised training in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), has training in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and is currently undertaking further training in other evidence-based modes of treatment such as Schema Therapy.
Rocco is a therapist who sees the importance of focusing on the therapeutic relationship with each person; to collaborate with people in a safe, accepting, and empathic space, and build on or mobilise their strengths to reach their personal goals. He believes strongly in taking an individualised and holistic approach to treatment.

The cost of a 50-minute session with Rocco is $165, which is payable at the end of the session by cash, EFTPOS or credit card. If referred by a GP along with a Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist, you will receive a rebate of $86.15 per session via Medicare. This will be processed at the end of each session. Up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year. Alternatively, you may wish to claim the consultation fee under private health cover if this option is available to you.
