Dr Angie Montgomery is a registered Health Psychologist with experience in private practice, public health and workplace mental health and wellbeing.
Angie is focused on creating a safe and compassionate space to work with her clients as they navigate challenges such as work-related stress or burnout, anxiety, trauma, life changes, grief and loss, or mood issues such as depression or anger.
Angie also often works with clients who may also be experiencing other health or medical issues, such as fatigue, sleep or energy concerns, health behaviour change, adjusting to a medical diagnosis, coping with chronic illness or caring for others. Angie also specialises in the management of persistent/chronic pain conditions.
Angie works across a range of treatment modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her style is compassionate, collaborative and goal oriented. Angie has a special interest in early intervention techniques and approaches to treatment that empower her clients. Angie primarily works with adults.

The cost of a 50-minute consultation with Angie is $190, which is payable at the end of the session by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. If referred by a G.P. along with a Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist, you will receive a rebate of $88.25 per session via Medicare. This will be processed at the end of each session. Up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions can be claimed per calendar year. Alternatively, you may wish to claim the consultation fee under private health cover, WorkCover, or TAC, if these options are available to you.
